About Me

Healthy Family Solutions for Whole Health

Hi, I’m Jamie Hayes.

I am a Board Certified Integrative Health Coach.

Health and nutrition began as a personal endeavor for me but has long since turned into a passionate career of mine. I have come to realize the things I value most in life are health and relationships so it is no surprise that I chose to align my career with these in mind.

As a new mother, being mindful of my choices has become even more important now as it is not just about me anymore. My hope is that I can set our children up for success by providing a clean, nourishing and active environment so they have awareness and are health conscious as they grow older.

But like my family, I care about the health outcomes of my clients too!

Whole Health is a client focused health coaching service. My goal is to provide support and accountability while encouraging positive lifestyle changes so each client can be successful on their journey to better health. Although I do not prescribe diets, the one thing I will always recommend is consuming as many whole, minimally processed foods as possible because whole health begins with whole foods.

Background

What inspired me to become a Health Coach?

CONFUSION, plain and simple. Growing up I always struggled to find the right diet for myself. To be honest, I wasn’t so much concerned with my overall health at the time as I was with my body image. Being as misinformed as I was, I often found myself experimenting with fad diets or restricting my calories only to find myself back where I started.

After years of educating myself on this subject, I now understand how interconnected our food choices are to our overall health and realize the importance of consuming a clean diet to not only make you look good but FEEL good too!

The food and health industries promote such broad and biased views it is hard to know what diet is actually legitimate for us. The thing is, all individuals are unique so a diet that works for one person may not work for the next. Throughout my years of self discovery with my own health, the one thing I noticed ALL diets DO have in common is PLANTS! There is not one diet out there that tells you not to eat your leafy green vegetables. My point being, if there is one thing you can be sure of it is this…

Consuming an overall diet of whole, minimally processed foods is the best way to optimize your health.

My goal as a health coach is to teach my clients how to “undiet” by introducing a whole food approach. I help individuals adapt healthful dieting habits without the added restrictions of common fad diets. This approach promotes weight loss and other positive lifestyle changes that can be sustained long-term.
