Quick Tips For A Healthy Pregnancy

I am officially in my third trimester of my pregnancy!

Now that I have experienced (almost) my second time around of a full term pregnancy, I feel I have a few valuable tips worth sharing…

 
 

TIPS FOR A HEALTHY PREGNANCY:

  1. STAY ACTIVE. In general this will help with mobility as you continue to grow and become a bit more uncomfortable. This isn’t easy to do when you are fighting fatigue and carrying extra weight around BUT it will pay off during your pregnancy and in the end with the birth and recovery process. Use mind over matter!

  2. EAT A CLEAN DIET. Don’t use pregnancy as an excuse to throw away your healthy habits. Instead, focus on improving them! Again, this isn’t always easy when you have random cravings but if you make the positive decision to consume more whole foods than not, you will absolutely notice the difference inside and out (along with your growing babe!).

  3. REST. You need it and you deserve it so listen to your body and relax when it feels necessary. I like to make my “resting time” somewhat productive by turning on a mediation or reading a book.
