Transitioning To A Plant-Based Diet

You can improve your relationship with food and quit dieting once and for all when you begin consuming REAL food! By real I mean unprocessed, unpackaged, whole foods.

Here are some pleasant perks that came along when

I transitioned to a whole food diet.

  1. My creativity was through the roof! I never thought of myself as “artistic” or “creative” before until I began experimenting in the kitchen.

  2. Cooking became more of a hobby instead of a chore and I acquired a lot of new skills in the kitchen!

  3. My relationship with food improved! I went from disordered eating with constant dieting to creating a healthy relationship with the food on my plate and no restrictions. For once I was able to appreciate the food I was eating without feeling guilty!

  4. Maintaining my weight became effortless. The more whole foods I began incorporating, the more stability and confidence I began to have with my diet and body image.

  5. I realized that I didn’t have to give up my favorite foods, rather, I needed to recreate them. I did this by using simple ingredient swaps to help enhance the nutritional value of my meals. For instance, I gave PIZZA a good reputation by using a chickpea crust, avoiding cheese and loading it with veggies so I could enjoy every last guilt free bite!

  6. Without noticing, I was naturally crowding our non-optimal foods because I was feeling nourished and enjoying the healthier foods I was consuming. By steadily incorporating more of the good foods into my diet, I was able to completely transition to a healthier lifestyle without having to make and drastic changes.
